Our 15u Rumble girls entered their first OVA tournament of the season playing up in the 16u Trillium division. Seeded 7th among 9 teams, our Rumble girls surprised everyone they met as they went undefeated winning ten straight sets on their way to winning the gold. It took a total team effort as every girl had shining moments throughout the day.

Most would agree that the highlight of the day came in the finals as we overcame an 18-23 deficit to take a 25-23 first set comeback win on the strength of some great serving by Kaitlyn Thompson combined with a “never quit” effort from all of her teammates.

It was a terrific day and a great warmup for our upcoming 15u Provincial Cup tourney. Way to go 15u Rumble!!!
