At the annual Oakville Thunder Awards Banquet our teams donated beautiful gift baskets to be raffled off. An annual tradition of “Thunder Gives Back” in which we raised $1280 dollars for SafetyNet Children and Youth Charities. This organization supports families from all over the Halton Region who need assistance with housewares, furniture, clothing, diapers etc. as well as tutoring services and music lessons.
Thank you to the 14U Blast team for organizing the clothing drive and to all that contributed. These items will also be donated to SafetyNet. Thank you to our Oakville Thunder families and community for their generosity and donations!
