This year we had 4 teams attend Nationals, making the trip to Calgary over the course of the multi-day event.
Rumble (15U Girls), Shock (16U Girls), Strike (17U Girls) & Flash (18U Boys) represented Oakville Thunder at this year-end tournament.

 

Our 16U Girls went an impressive 9-0 over the course of 3 days and brought home the Division 1 Tier 9 Gold Medal in an exciting final over the Jr. Bisons from Manitoba. Our 17U Girls also had an impressive showing – finalizing their season with a Gold Medal in Division 1 Tier 10 beating the PGYVC Kodiaks Red from BC in an exciting 3 set victory! Finally, our 18U Boys Flash team, in their final tournament as OVA players, came out with a victory, securing the Division 2 Tier 1 Bronze medal. A fantastic way to conclude their careers before heading on to post secondary school.
